What Size Unit Can I Rent?

We provide a variety of unit sizes and types based on your specific need. If you have questions regarding which size is right for you, please review our storage unit size guide to find exactly the storage space you may require.  If you have any additional questions regarding unit sizes, storage types, or prices, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 601-956-3421.

Ok I Can Rent, But Who Else Has Access to my Storage Unit?

You can give anyone access to your storage facility, but that person must be previously authorized by you in person. We provide a unique access code for our customers to access their unit 7 days a week. We do not provide anyone access to your unit unless you have added them in-person to your access privilege list. This ensures the safety of your belongings.

Drive-Up Storage, Climate Control etc. What's The Difference?

All of our facilities offer unique storage sizes and types.  Common unit types include:

Climate Controlled Units: We designed our climate-controlled storage units to be kept at a temperature range between 55 and 85 degrees (F). We have found this is the optimal temperature range for storing your valuables or environmentally-sensitive items. Our climate-controlled storage units are indoor units that are designed to maintain stable temperatures, giving you peace of mind knowing your most precious possessions will be better protected from damage during the hot Summers and cold Winter months.

Drive-Up Storage UnitsThis type of unit is ideal if you want quick, easy access to your items. After entering though our secure gate using your unique access code, you can drive straight up to your unit, park, unload, and take off. Our roll-up doors make accessing your unit a breeze and save space unlike their swinging-door counterparts.  While this is often the most convenient method of storage, it offers slightly less protection from the elements than climate controlled storage. However, Drive-Up storage is easily the most popular form of storage, mostly for its quick access.

How Long Can I Rent a Unit?

Rent your unit for as long (or short) as you need!  We bill in monthly increments for our month-month leases. We prefer a 10-day notice when a tenant decides to vacate their unit.

Are My Items Insured While Being Storage At Your Facility?

Insurance for your items is not a requirement at 220 Self Storage, but keep in mind that renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment.  The same way your landlord doesn’t insure your personal belongings, 220 Self Storage doesn’t insure your items either. We do offer insurance plans through our facility. Please consult our facility manager about monthly premiums.

What Forms of Payment do You Accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks, cash and money orders.

Can I Pay Over the Phone With a Credit Card?

Yes! You can pay over the phone with a credit card or debit card. We also offer automatic withdrawal through our facility.

When is my Payment Due?

Everyone’s due date is different. Your due date is the same day of the month you moved in.  So if you moved in on the 1st of the month, your next bill will be due on the 1st of every following month.

I'm Ready to Move Out of my Unit - Do You Require Notice?

Yes. We require a 10 day notice – in writing – before your next billing date.

Do You Pro-Rate My Final Month?

As a general rule, we do not offer pro-rated billing.  However, rare exceptions can be made if you need your unit for an extra day or two and you have made arrangements in advance with our site manager.
